In 2018, Shinbukai Dojo was established by Vincent Sia with a simple vision: to create a dedicated space for Iaido and Jodo amidst the movement of Singapore.

What began as a small gathering of practitioners has grown into a community led by a team of instructors who value the quiet discipline of the blade and staff. We believe that Budo is most powerful when it meets the challenges of modern life. For us, the dojo isn't just a place to learn techniques; it is a place where we’ve spent years practicing how to remain centered, one breath and one strike at a time.
